We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Terminal Operator to join our team in Pinkenba. This casual position involves a variety of duties to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our terminal facility. Key Responsibilities: Cylinder Filling & Maintenance: Safely fill, clean, and paint gas cylinders, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards Cylinder Handling: Move cylinders using appropriate trolleys and rolling equipment Note: Lifting of cylinders larger than 15kg is not required; all equipment is designed to minimize manual handling Yard Maintenance: Perform general yard cleanup duties to maintain a safe and organized work environment Forklift Operations: Operate forklifts to transport cylinders and other materials within the terminal Assistance to Terminal Leading Hand: Support the Terminal Leading Hand with daily operations and other tasks as required Requirements: Forklift Licence: Must hold a valid forklift licence Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual tasks and operate equipment safely Safety Awareness: Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures Benefits: Competitive Pay: $51.50 per hour Casual Position: Monday to Friday schedule with potential for ongoing work Training: On-the-job training provided to ensure safety and efficiency About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
